Role Summary/Purpose

The Design Engineer role will be focussed on supporting the design of the A350 Trailing Edge, this is an exciting opportunity to work on a major new commercial program within my clients business.

Essential Responsibilities
Support the design work associated with the A350 wing trailing edge program using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements

Document technical data generated by the project consistent with engineering policies and procedures

Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments with your assigned package of work

Develop your design skills through mentoring, on the job training and formal learning

Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or qualified to an equivalent level

Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools, and systems

Solid oral and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills

PC proficiency

Desired Characteristics
Experience of working with composite products
